My friend Lauren has a disease. Her hair falls out, and she can't grow correctly in a way. And my other friend Sam was her friend too, and she said once Lauren ran away to her house because her mother was . . . abusing her. And now Lauren is moving. If she doesn't she stays back a grade. She didn't have time for homework or anything because of chores, but she was a smart kid, and our teacher just didn't understand the way she thinks. Neither of us knows her phone number, and once she called me, but I forgot to write it down. And she hasn't been calling Sam either. So I'm scared for her. Scared what will happen to a good person when she did nothing wrong.
